How to Find Us

Almond Valley is on the outskirts of Livingston, West Lothian, just two miles from junction 3 of the M8, the main Edinburgh to Glasgow motorway. Follow the brown tourist signs for “Almond Valley Heritage Centre”. We’re at the heart of Scotland, about 15 miles from the centre of Edinburgh and 30 miles from Glasgow.

Public Transport

Almond Valley is about a mile from Livingston North railway station, which enjoys a regular service (up to four trains an hour) on the Edinburgh to Glasgow line via Bathgate. For details of train services contact Scotrail. Livingston North station is about a mile from Almond Valley and linked by various local bus services. Alternatively a walk via Livingston’s attractive (but sometimes confusing) network of footpaths should take about 30 minutes
